Project Crew Worker
  • Oversee onsite work activities, provide onsite training to corpsmembers on conservation, natural resources, disaster relief, construction and maintenance projects (e.g., timber stand improvement; ditch improvement; park renovation; reclamation projects; shelter house; concrete construction; painting; mowing; trail construction; board walks; recreation areas; landscaping). Train corpsmembers in proper use of equipment to include safety practices, safety awareness and construction principles and techniques and proper care and use of tools and equipment and provide counseling on life skills, career counseling and guidance to corpsmembers.
  • Assist corpsmembers with skill development and enhancement (e.g., blue print reading; tape measure use; match skills).
  • Assist corpsmembers with resume writing and evaluate and monitor cleanliness/neatness of corpsmembers rooms at residential camp.
