Photograph Archivist
- Catalogue, care for photographic collection, including research to support cataloguing.
- Collect, arrange, describe, and preserve photographic collection of over 400,000 images, including: multiple format negatives in color and Black & White, prints, slides, transparencies, lantern slides, film and videos of various formats.
- Research and catalog images to provide searchable indexes for the retrieval of Archival and Library staff.
- Use appropriate technology, skills, and handling procedures to scan and catalog images.
- Provide digital print ready images with caption and copyright information to the Museum staff and other users of the collection.
- Collect signed License Agreements from authors and publishers.
- Assist staff, visitors and outside requestors with research.
- Serve as contact for Zanted Corporation and other major users of the Collections.
- Supervise interns, and volunteers.
- Assist in Grant preparation.

Photograph Archivist Intern (under supervision)
- Provided images to aquarium staff for aquarium project - big and small. These requests included providing photos for inter-office projects, newsletters, and for major floor exhibits as well.
- Managed the aquarium's own photo collection and negotiated contracts with stock photographers.
- Preserved, identified, arranged, inventoried and organized photographs so they were accessible for later reference.
- Wrote captions or labels for identified photos.
- Organized paper photo archives as well as archives of digital photos.
- Developed and entered information on photos into a computer database.
- Processed, described and preserved archival and special collections for access and public use.
- Performed non-routine assignments related to research.
- Assisted with coordination and preparation of special exhibits and projects, as well as planning and preparation for special events.
