    • Check all fires and equipment when reporting on duty; clean boiler, panel and assigned areas.
    • Fire boilers to maintain safe and efficient operation; provide functional supervision to and assist Larry Worker and Utility Worker when necessary.
    • Record temperatures and pressures on log sheets and maintain proper steam pressure, water level and fuel-air ratio in boilers.
    • Remain on firing aisle at all times, unless properly relieved, and complete all assignments from Chief Operator or Assistant Chief Operator.

    Low pressure Boiler Operator
    • Tended boilers and equipment to supply and maintain steam or heat for buildings, marine vessels, or operation of pneumatic tools.
