Dear Ms. Andrews:

I found out about your need for a senior word processor on JobBankUSA.com. I believe I am a good fit for your company. I have trained many entry-level word processors and have given seminars to high school students looking to come into this field. I specialize in computer skills with an emphasis on processing statistical tables, forms, and complex charts.

I'm writing this cover letter in hopes that we can meet in person to discuss the type of work I'd be doing if you decide to hire me. If we can get together I feel certain you will see that I'm the person for the job.

I am currently working part-time and have afternoons available for interviews. Are you free one day next week? I'll be happy to drive to your office and bring samples of the kind of work I've done in the past. Please call me at 786-909-9098 or e-mail me at nancyg@earthlink.net to set up a time.

Sincerely,

Nancy Gurnee
