Ms. Ramona Judge,
Head Librarian
Any Town Community Library
4645 Main Street
Any Town, USA 99999

Dear Ms. Judge:

I saw the posting on JobBankUSA.com for employment as an acquisitions librarian. I would like to apply for this position with this cover letter. I have experience and credentials, having earned a master's degree in library science in 2000. I am especially interested in acquiring and ordering the books, periodicals, films and other materials your for your patrons and to build up a selection of library items in foreign languages, as well as English.

If we could meet in person, I could show you what I have accomplished in my previous employment at Windsor Library in nearby Covington. I know that other acquisitions librarians will bid for this job, but I hope you will not make a final selection until we can get together.

I'm available for an interview weekday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Please call 888-888-8888 to arrange a date and time that works for both of us. Thank you for considering me for the job.

Sincerely,

Ruth Jenkins
