Training & Development - McKesson fosters a positive and supportive work environment that encourages employees' professional growth. The company's Center for Learning, designed to unlock leadership potential, provides training in management and business. Their One McKesson Educational Assistance Program is pays tuition and associated fees for pre-approved academic programs.

Healthcare - An employee who works 30 or more hours per week is eligible for the benefits plan that includes medical, dental, vision, dependent life, flexible spending accounts and other group life. There are several options available and they may vary from location to location. Prescription drug coverage and preventitve medical coverage is available in all plans.

Compensation - Cash compensation is designed to attract, motivate and retain a high performance workforce and is dependent on employee skills, experience and competency.

Personal - The nationwide employee assistance program (EAP) provides employees and their families confidential couseling for problems with family matters, substance abuse and depression. Also available are childcare & eldercare. Paid time off (PTO)at McKession is a combination of sick time and vacation in a single bank of time to be used at the employees' discretion. Sixteen days of PTI are granted new hires, but anyone union represented, working less than 32 hours per week or an international employee are not eligible. Holidays are also granted dependent on work location.

Financial & Retirement Rewards - The 401k plan is available after 2 months of service, to regular status employees working more than 20 hours a week and the company will match up to 4% of contributions immediately. The stock purchase plan is offered 4 times a year for 85% of market price on last day of of the purchase period. Employees can elect to have up to 15% of their pay set aside for stock purchase options.
