Tidewater Group Purchasing is the leading national group purchasing organization for residential healthcare facilities. Tidewater negotiates and manages a comprehensive portfolio of vendor contracts that benefit our members operationally and financially. Our vendor programs include a wide range of products and services that are utilized in healthcare facilities. Tidewater provides programs in medical equipment and supplies, maintenance and housekeeping supplies, foodservice products and equipment and many other products and services. Our vendor partners include SYSCO, US Foodservice, Omnicare, Medline, Ecolab, KCI, Hill-Rom, Direct Supply and Office Max. Tidewater Group Purchasing is a division of Omnicare, the world's largest institutional pharmacy.
We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a talented sales representative for a NC/SC territory. Our Territory Managers promote our GPO program, obtain new customers and service existing customers which include long term care nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities and continuing care retirement comminities. You will also network and joint market with our vendor partners to grow the territory.

Requirements
Requirement include proven sales, communication, presentation, relationship building skills. You will also need strong analytical ability and customer service skills. Ideal candidates will have several years of documented success in the long-term care industry, working with a large foodservice company or medical supply distributor. You must be self motivated and be able to work from home. Our Territory Manager will must also be able to travel overnight approximately four nights per month. The target location for this territory is the Charlotte area but other locations within NC or SC would work.
