Seeking SVP Global Data Center Technology/Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery-reporting into Head of Global Business Continuity
This position is a hybrid of many specialties. You will be responsible for strategies including migrating data centers, business recovery, physical security, disaster recovery. There will be 6 major global regions matrixed into this position and under each region will be 30-40 direct reports. You will be responsible for both the technology and business recovery. You will have 6-7 direct reports directly underneath you. This is a role that requires someone with seasoned experience and has a high energy level.
This position is a very visible role within this organization and requires someone who has this kind of experience coming out of a financial institution.
You must have solid experience and a thorough understanding of Technology and Disaster Recovery, with Storage, Data, Mission Critical experience, migration of large data centers, management experience with direct reports as well as matrixed reports, must be able to figure out how much data is critcal and what is not critical. You must be able to communicate with Senior level executives within this major organization and have the ability to come up with strategies, and implement those strategies. You must have a past track record of success and stellar references.
This position can be based anywhere......you can work from home 2 days a week, and be in the office 3 days a week, either in NY, NJ or Long Island.
Travel required 1 week every 2 months.
Compensation for this position goes to $250k.........give or take depending on where/what experience the candidate has.
