Route Tech / Service Technician -- Set your own hours in this independent role!
Hyrian, the recruitment department for great companies, is proud to announce an independent new Route Tech / Service Technician role in the Charleston, WV area. Since 1981, our client has led the way in providing convenient and profitable air and vacuuming services to service stations and conveniences stores. What would you be doing?
As a Route Tech / Service Technician, you would install and maintain machines for our client s Charleston area customers. This is a great chance to use your mechanical and electrical expertise while enjoying independence and a flexible schedule. Your key responsibilities would include:
Installing and maintaining freestanding tire-inflation and vacuum machines
Collecting coins from the machines
Responding to work orders (sent via a company-provided cell phone)
Completing regularly scheduled services
Repairing machines as needed
Consulting with store and on-site managers
Maintaining company van inventory and tools
What kind of candidate are we looking for?
Is this the right position for you? Here are a few things we re looking for in our ideal candidate:
Extensive experience in a related role (mechanical/electrical) is required
Must be able to lift equipment weighing 70lbs
Strong communication skills are essential
Familiarity with cell phone texting is needed
Certification in a related field is highly preferred
Experience as a business owner is a plus
Professionalism is a must
