Apply for this job: Your application choices are: * Apply for this jobonline * Send your resume as an attachment viae-mail More information about this job: Responsibilities: - Apply creative problem solving to define technical solutions at a high level, in the fields of service management and IP routing optimization. - Work with individual customers and partners on complex solution issues, positioning client's products as part of the solution to assist in company growth. - Provide technical influence on corporate roadmap regarding product evolution and directions. - Produce high-level requirements for new solution capabilities, which will provide input to Systems Engineering as the basis of product requirements. - Provide input to corporate roadmap regarding product evolution and directions. - Participate in select industry forums to advance the technical interests of client and to stay abreast of significant developments. - Work closely with PLM to assure that product overall architecture directions and product line strategy are aligned. - Work closely with engineering team to understand impacts and obstacles, and assure that roadmap items are realistically achievable as well as consistent with strategy.
Qualifications:
- Experienced in technical solution architecture for the datacomm, telecom, or IT sector - Strong technical experience related to IP-based networks and services
Work at home initially (Telecommute), until client gets its NJ office set up. Travel required, but should be moderate.
