A recognized leader in microwave sample preparation for metals and organics analysis is currently looking for a dynamic, motivated individual interested in an analytical instrumentation sales position.
The successful candidate will have a M.S. in chemistry or a related field or B.S. and 2-5 years laboratory experience or
other combination/scientific qualification plus 2-5 years sales experience (consumables / instrumentation sales etc.)
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual looking to move from the laboratory to sales. The company is looking for a person that has the aptitude to learn new skills quickly (both technical and sales), has a high level of self-motivation and has the personality that fits into our working environment.
Duties will include:
* Team selling in cooperation with Milestone Sales and Applications professionals
* Sales visits to prospective clients and current user base
* Product demonstrations and customer presentations
* Territory management, prospecting, and key account building
* Local seminars and industry shows
Candidate should possess the following skills:
* A bachelors or masters in chemistry or science related field and 2-5 years laboratory experience (or as listed above).
* Technical expertise with analytical testing procedures for metals. Organic analysis, synthetic chemistry, and/or microwave chemistry experience a plus
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work within a diverse organization of sales and technical professionals
* Ability to effectively communicate technical information and data in a clear, concise manner
* Excellent oral, written, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, experience with Salesforce.com a plus)
* Ability to travel up to 50%
