Our client is a premium provider of information security and managed hosting services, including disaster recovery and ERP hosting. Their dedicated hosting of mission-critical applications is based on a foundation of compliance with government standards and industry best practices.
Your tasks:
Install/migrate and maintain SAP customer systems in a data center
Maintain and optimize SAP Basis and near components: release change projects, performance monitoring, CCMS configurations, Early Watch alert reviews, version upgrades, client copies, etc.
Database Administration: data base migrations, DB backup and recovery, exports/imports, reorganizations
System &storage administration: High Availability setup, system tuning, performance monitoring, troubleshooting
Attention: move to the U.S./Detroit not necessary, remote work from home possible
Requirements
Degree in computer science
3+ years professional experience in SAP Basis consulting and administration
Excellent expertise in covering transport systems, authorizations, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, DB backup and recovery, High Availability, DB exports/imports, etc.
Good expertise in SAP migrations
Excellent know-how in Windows-Server or Unix/Linux operating systems
Good know-how in administration of MS SQL Server or Oracle
Good knowledge of SAP Netweaver Porttal 7.0
SAP Certification preferred
Fluent in English
