Responsibilities: Purpose of your New Role
Responsible for achieving sales volume, market share, distribution, and profit objectives for assigned accounts through acceptable account management practices to include planning, coordinating, and executing company selling strategies.
Your Key Job Accountabilities
' Create business development plan and strategy for growth in assigned customers, to include new item distribution, promotional events, baseline retail sales growth, dollar and unit share growth and shipment volume.
' Develop annual volume forecast and manage forecast monthly to deliver committed volume and communicate accurate business trends and fluctuations in assigned accounts.
' Manage marketing funds to ensure greatest return on investment, while achieving maximum promotional activity and effectiveness at retail
' Conduct regular, scheduled, headquarter account calls with buyers, and any/all account personnel with influence on their brands.
' Create new item presentations and plan for launch with customer.
' Conduct twice annual planning meetings, where you will present your launch plans to your accounts.
' Plan, coordinate and execute twice annual planogram updates, to include negotiation with third-party labor companies, scheduling of reset activity, ordering/tracking of fixtures, follow up on project as appropriate.
' Work closely with Business Analyst to understand category trends for your account(s), conduct post-promotional analysis, sku rationalizations, volume and sales projections,
The Network you would Work With
' Internally you will build strong relationships with your immediate sales team, up to and including your specific FSVP. You will continue to build relationships and Network across other sales teams. In addition, you will have interaction with the Customer Marketing, Sales Operations, Marketing, Logistics and Customer Service departments.
' Externally you will be in close contact with your account's entire buying team.

Qualifications, Knowledge &Know-How required
' Bachelors Degree in Business or a related area
' Three or more years of experience in Sales or Marketing
' Strong communicator both orally and written
' Effective negotiation skills
' Must possess a valid driver's license (and be in good standing)
' Syndicated data knowledge/analysis (Nielsen/IRI) required.
Requirements: Essential skills
' Must possess excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
' Must be able to interact effectively ' both internally and externally
' Must possess knowledge of trade-math and business language.
' Ability to mange in complex situation often needing to deliver innovative results.
' Should be results orientated
' Must be willing to travel overnight
Desirable skills
' Industry or account-specific knowledge is a plus.
