Job Description

Use your past success in outside sales, with at least three years experience focused on major accounts, work closely with the sales force to cultivate, develop and maintain accounts with automotive dealer associations. You will create and deliver professional and powerful sales presentations to large and small audiences while dealing with top executives and decision makers. You will work closely with area automobile dealer groups and advertising agencies to solidify relationships while identifying future opportunities. You will use your knowledge of the advertising and/or automotive industry to work at multiple levels within our field sales organization in order to meet revenue goals as well as be comfortable dealing with multiple levels within automotive dealerships, automobile associations, automotive dealer groups, and ad agencies. Your great communication and organizational skills will be pushed to their limits in this role. You'll need a strong knowledge of the internet, very strong presentation skills and an extremely professional demeanor in order to create success in this role.

The Regional Account Executive in this position will work from a home office environment and can reside in the Detroit, MI or Chicago, IL area.



Responsibilities

Identify prospects.

Meet revenue goals.

Ensure great service for existing accounts.

Act as the subject matter expert for identifying, selling and servicing associations.

Build strong relationships with your dealer principles and key internal personnel.

Know the competition and how to sell against it.



Qualifications

7+ years proven success in outside sales, with 3+ years focused on major accounts, including the experience of prospecting in order to identify targets, delivering the presentation and closing the sale

Previous experience in media/advertising sales AND/OR experience selling into automobile associations/major accounts

Proven experience being a top performer in past sales jobs

Expert use of internet and MS Office

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with very strong presentation skills and an extremely professional demeanor

History of long sales cycles and good follow-up skills
