Project Structural Engineer Job Description:
Nationally-recognized, Rocky Mountain Power Consulting Company is actively seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Denver, Colorado.
Qualified candidates will offer a BS Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil or Structural), have obtained an Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) and have 2-5 years of experience working in a structural engineering role. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a candidate who possesses good organizational skills, is proficient in finite element theory and dynamics analysis and has a strong understanding of STAAD and AutoCAD.
This position will be responsible for producing finite element analysis (FEA) and framing analysis using STAAD and AutoCAD. Ideal candidates will be familiar with steel plate and reinforced concrete design and construction and/or large wind and seismic sensitive structures.
This position does require some occasional travel (less than 10%).
Candidates will also be able to work from home.
This position can interview and start immediately. Out of state candidates will be considered for the position and full relocation packages are available to qualified candidates.
This company has been in business for over 25 years and specializes in the design and construction of reinforced concrete and steel chimneys and combustion turbine exhaust systems for the power generation industry. The company is headquartered in New Hampshire, boasts an international presence and is currently in the process of opening its first Colorado office location.
