Work from Home 50% of the Time!
Great Opportunity for Accomplished Project Manager with MMIS( Medicaid Management Information System) experience and open for traveling. Person can be based ANYWHERE in the country. You will work from home 2 weeks and then 2 weeks at the client's site. The client's site could be located in AK, ND, Washington DC, SD, NE, ID, or Maine. The "must have's" for this position include 3 years as a Project Manager, 4 years of application system development, Project Management tools, Microsoft Project and solid knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model in a software development environment. Additional required experience includes a practical understanding of application software development, current knowledge of development toolset and a strong consultant image. Background and drug screen required.
Required Experience
MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System)
Minimum 3 years as a project manager required.
Minimum of 4 additional years of application system development experience showing a steady growth of success and responsibility
Demonstrated mastery of current tools and techniques of project management, demonstrated knowledge and use of key knowledge areas within the Project Management Institutes Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Proficiency in Microsoft Project
Demonstrated practical knowledge of the Capability Maturity Model in a software development environment.
Practical understanding of application software development. Knowledge of current development toolset
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
Strong "consultant image", intellectual flexibility, work ethic and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel and relocate as required by business opportunities
