Job description:
Our Client is actively looking for Facilities Project Engineer to work from home anywhere in the U.S. that lives close to an airport. The engineer will be required to travel up to 50% of the time around the country and some abroad. In this position you will be required to provide end-to-end solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management. Job Responsibilities: * Perform visual inspections of industrial facilities, related planing and layout of industrial building systems. * Interact with client facilities management staff to ascertain necessary information. * Review and utilize client documentation during inspection process (drawings, studies, maintenance logs, etc.) * Develop cost estimates for industrial plant facilities replacement costs, renovation, and repairs. * A background in facilities inspections on the structural side and must have knowledge of different industrial facility systems. A college degree is preferred but not required. Must have four or more years hand on experience in industrial facilities including reading blue prints, system repairs and renovation. The ideal candidate will have experience in a combination of facilities management, design and industrial construction management. Candidates must be able to quickly evaluate facility/system replacement values, conduct lifecycle analysis, and identify deficiencies with corrective cost estimates. The client offers a per-diem while traveling for expenses. This a contract position that will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Must be able to begin work on September 10th.
