We are seeking teachers who are interested in joining our team in the 2007-2008 school year.
Certified teachers, we need you! Educate Online is leading the way in online instruction over the web for Grades 3-9 and has great part-time opportunities for certified or previously certified teachers to teach students from your home via the Internet.
Are you a teaching professional who loves teaching but would enjoy the convenience of teaching from home?
We are looking for experienced math and reading teachers interested in working part-time. Schedules are flexible and include day and evening hours during the week and weekends. Additionally, each teacher will receive paid training in the comfort of your home on how to use our state-of-the-art, online, interactive instructional program.
Compensation is $10/hour for instructors proficient in teaching Math and Reading. We also offer a part-time incentive package including a 401(k) retirement savings plan and discounts for teachers who are looking to further their education online!

Requirements
- Must be eligible to work for any employer in the US
Must be willing to comply with a background check process that includes local/federal fingerprinting
Must have a Bachelor s Degree
Must have active or expired teaching certification from a college, university or accredited agency in the United States
Must have atleast two years of academic teaching experience (this may include student teaching or substitute teaching experience)
Must be able to teach both Reading and Math (grades 3 - 6 or grades 7 - 9)
Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
Must be available to work a minimum of 8 hours per week between hours of 5:00 9:00 PM EST Monday Thursday
Must have reliable access to a computer with Microsoft XP or Windows 2000 operating system
Must have reliable access to a computer with Cable, DSL or FIOS internet access
Must be able to proficiently use the internet and computers without assistance
