THE JOB
Ensure your writing and your team's writing is medically and scientifically accurate and meets client objectives, timelines, and budget
Assign projects and provide direction to medical writers on your team
Partner with an Account Manager to coordinate activities with client and internal teams
If you prefer not to lead a team and mentor other writers, you may serve as a Senior Writer.
Requirements
YOUR BACKGROUND
Medical writing directed to physicians and specialists
Interactions with client and key opinion leaders/authors
Excellent project management skills
Full knowledge of the AMA writing style
Skills in publications strategy, planning, and implementation
Medical writer or medical director experience
An advanced degree in a medically-related field
Mentored less senior writers
Team Leaders must be in the office a majority of the time but may telecommute at-will and/or on a regularly scheduled basis at other times. Medical Writers must live locally and be available for occasional meetings and training; we can discuss your telecommuting options.
