Primary Job Responsibilities
THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE YOU TO WORK FROM HOME AND LIVE SOMEWHERE IN THE EASTERN UNITED STATES.
Job Description –
A great opportunity to join Paypal, a division of eBay, in the dynamic and fast paced growth environment of global online payments. In this position you will be responsible for expanding our enterprise merchant customers primarily in the eastern United States. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Engagement Management within our Large Merchant Sales and Integration team.
In this Engagement Manager role you will support pre-sales activities as well as oversee high profile Paypal integrations for many the world’s largest on-line merchants.
Working from your home you will help sales teams design solutions using our product suite, you will participate in sales calls (from both your home office and on the customer’s site). You will also participate as a team member in customer integration teams where you will answer questions and provide direction on best practices for Paypal integrations.
In this dual role of technical pre-sales, solutions consultant you will be required to travel regularly (up to 40%). This role will also require some travel to the corporate office in San Jose, CA and has the possibility of some international travel.
Working from this “remote” office you will be required to quickly learn a broad range of products and solutions and then represent Paypal during the technical aspects of presales opportunities.
This position requires the ability to track and manage multiple on-going opportunities and integrations. Your previous experience will preferably be in the on-line retail, e-commerce or payment gateways.
You will be responsible for managing the integration of enterprise merchants into the Paypal payment solutions from first engagement (technical presales) to go-live.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to take charge and work effectively to deliver results towards Paypal’s goal to be the premier alternative payments for on-line sales.
Five plus years experience in one or more of the following areas. Professional services, sales engineering, account management, sales. In these positions you will have regularly interacted with executive level customers within Fortune 1000 companies.
Payments and e-commerce industry experience preferred.
Bachelors degree or equivalent required.
