Work onsite in Silver Spring, MD. Opportunity to work from home a couple of days per week. May consider full time from home.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive web-based applications. Working with a team of designers, producers and developers, the candidate will be involved in all phases of the development life-cycle, from needs assessments to implementation and training, including prototyping, designing, coding, testing, debugging, maintaining and support.

Develop and maintain html templates for clients public facing website.
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot CSS Stylesheets, JavaScript and XML/XSL applications used across the site
Integrate Flash interactives using AJAX technologies
CMS Development/Enhancements
Prototype and build web-based application features, focusing on aesthetics and ease of use. This includes owning and collaborating on the specification, prototyping, design, development, testing, documentation and maintenance of web software components.
Requirements
Four plus years of professional development experience
Experience and proficiency with HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, RSS, XML, XSL and other rich internet interactivity techniques
The ability to write clean, well-documented code
The ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is essential
Strong self motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Perform technical trouble-shooting to diagnose production or application issues, and assist with QA testing and bug fixes
Qualifications:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills and the ability and interest to pick up new technologies as needed. Must also possess the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and customize existing applications. Must be a team-oriented individual, energetic, result &delivery oriented, with a keen interest on quality and the ability to meet deadlines. Selected candidate will be required to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and requires the ability to accurately gauge project duration, deliver on deadlines, and switch rapidly between projects in a fast paced environment. Requires the ability to function effectively in a team environment to design, write and test quality code, as well as independently own projects to completion. Must be attentive to detail.
Desirable Experience
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
GUI design experience
Working knowledge of Perl and Flash, Interwoven TeamSite and Windows Media Center is a plus
