Our Client is actively looking for Facilities Assessment Engineers to work from home anywhere in the U.S. that lives close to an airport. The engineer will be required to travel up to 50% of the time around the country and some abroad. In this position you will be required to provide end-to-end solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management. Job Responsibilities: * Perform visual inspections of facilities and related building s electrical system. * Interact with client facilities management staff to ascertain necessary information. * Review and utilize client documentation during inspection process (drawings, studies, maintenance logs, etc.) * Develop cost estimates for facilities replacement costs and/or corrective measures. A college degree is preferred or five or more years hand on experience in building systems including electrical systems and or site utilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a combination of facilities management and operations, design, renovations, repairs and construction management. Candidates must be able to quickly evaluate facility/ system replacement values, conduct lifecycle analysis, and identify deficiencies with corrective cost estimates. The client offers a per-diem while traveling for expenses. This a contract position that will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Salary: 25-33.65 per hour
