Drilling Apprentice Job Description:
A local exploratory drilling firm is seeking motivated, hard-working individuals to incorporate into their drilling apprenticeship program. The firm places great value on anyone with previous outdoor construction and labor experience. The ideal candidates will have had experience with rigorous, heavy-labor settings who are financially motivated with an eye towards their career.
Our client moves, does set up and break down procedures for drilling rigs that explore for commodities such as natural gas, water and other minerals as well as exploring for building foundations and site investigation. This is a highly profitable opportunity for the person willing to travel and work long hours. Given minimal work experience in a construction and/or labor-type setting, an apprentice-candidate can clear at least $50,000 per year if they meet the qualifications which are as follows:
-Experience in a construction and/or labor-type setting.
-Valid Drivers License (the firm will train, qualify and certify you for your CDL).
-Capability and willingness to work away from home, from 14 to 20 days at a time (generous per diem for living expenses and time-off is provided) working 70-90 hour weeks in varying elements.
-Willingness to learn your trade and take ownership of your work.
-Career-minded with an eye towards securing your financial future in a lucrative skilled-trade.
