Position Description:
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM HOME-
- Responsible for soliciting and securing new contracts for Carlson Wagonlit Travel.
- Through the use of cold calling, internal lead generation, and the assistance of Sales Automation tool, establish new leads and work to secure the business.
- To direct the strategic development and support of the sales proces
Position Requirements:
- Extensive research, utilize internal and external resources, ability to manage multi-dimensional relationships
- Ability to leverage key drivers in the prospect's industy and business to develop our strategy
- Uncovers opportunites to leverage the Carlson opportunities. Solid understanding of other Carlson Companies.
- Ability to clearly articulates value proposition and Return on Investment of program being presentated.
- Responsible for managing a territory and assigned/related quota of more than 20 million dollars in business. Generally account volume ranges from 5 Million to 20 Million
- Research driven and utilizing supplier network to identify qualifed propects
- Influences and leads multiple internal team members through clear articualtion of purpose, preparation and strategy
- Work closely and direct the proposal writing team to ensure accurate and relevant proposals are submitted
- Highly customized approach to presentation development
- Customize written materials based on prospect need and deliver customized, targeted oral presentations.
- Proactively executes and commands leading role in a multi-step, ongoing strategic plan throughout the sales process
- Understand industry, apply references appropriate with industry or program financial status of company
- Develops financial strategy aligned with prospect's financial goals and can articulate strategy and rationale
- Applies industry, competitive and global knowledge to the strategy
- Extract key information needed to drive the sales strategy
Position Attributes:
- 5 plus years general sales experience
- Industry knowledge a a must.
- Proven sales track record on larger more complex accounts.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of in-depth knowledge of financials.
- Self motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Ability to close business
- Excellent Negotiation skills
- College degree or relevant experience
- Demonstrated computer aptitude on a variety of Microsoft Office products (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills (both written and platform) a plus
- Ability to lead small teams
