JOB MISSION SUMMARY Customer Service is the important first-line of contact with customers, setting the tone for how members, doctors and plan sponsor groups view our company. It provides members with the right information at the right time to help them make better decisions about their health and health care. RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong customer service focus, Call Center telephone experience, and effective verbal, written, and keyboard skills. Customer Service Representatives must project a positive, helpful attitude while being an active listener, and be able to handle multiple tasks &responsibilities. Individuals must work cooperatively and establish positive cross-functional relationships within the organization. Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential. You must be available for overtime during the week &Saturdays as needed. You are required to pass a mandatory drug screen and comprehensive background check. Call Center and medical insurance experience are preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products is a plus. As a high-volume Call Center, we are always busy. You must be available to work an 8 hour shift anytime between 8:00am - 6:00pm. Some 2nd shift positions available, for these positions you must be available to work an 8 hour shift anytime between 11:00am - 9:00pm (and include a shift differential). To ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, we have service expectations and goals. Candidates must be comfortable being monitored for their level of efficiency, accuracy and customer satisfaction. Work at home arrangement available - is at the discretion of management following training. Our Customer Service Representatives benefit from 12 - 19 weeks of paid training, which must be completed with no absences. This training class will start October 8, 2007.
