The position is a wonderful blend of consultative sales, relationship-building, and advising families who are in search of senior housing options for a loved one. You must also be a caring and compassionate person with a desire to help people through stressful times during their search for eldercare. Additionally, you are comfortable working in a fast paced exclusively web-based environment where you are directly rewarded for your hard work. Senior care industry experience is preferred. Sales experience is essential.

A Place for Mom, Inc. is the nation's largest eldercare referral service serving families who are seeking care options for elderly loved ones. The company employs over 260 staff members, over 200 of which are Eldercare Advisors that provide professional assessment, advisement and referrals to families searching the maze of eldercare. This service is provided free to families searching for options such as assisted living, Alzheimer's care, nursing homes, retirement communities, and personal care homes. Over the past five years A Place for Mom has helped over 100,000 families find care for their aging loved ones. We currently have a network of over 12,000 senior care properties nationwide.

The company currently has three business lines: A Place for Mom – the eldercare referral service; You’ve Got Leads – an online lead tracking system for the senior housing industry; and The Family Advisor – a senior housing resource book for consumers.
Eldercare Advisor Position Description and Responsibilities:
Reporting to a Market Development Coach you are responsible to execute a defined process to assess, advise, and refer families regarding eldercare services via phone. Additionally responsible to develop and maintain excellent account relationships with in-network partner properties in a defined area; and maintain a database focused follow-up process with all clients in a professional, courteous, engaging and timely manner with a sense of urgency.
