Primary responsibilities include:
Providing benefits information and medical care coordination over the phone
Gathering diagnosis information from patients, as well as treatment and medical history
Collaborating with contract providers, vendors, and inpatient/outpatient services to coordinate care
Identifying methods for savings costs while providing quality services
Educating patients, families and related parties on care services
Job Requirements:
A Registered Nurse with a current, unrestricted license to practice in your state of residence is required. Solid related clinical experience is essential. Oncology experience is highly preferred. A managed care background and experience in case management, care coordination, and/or discharge planning are all a plus. Proficiency with MS Office is a must. Ideal candidates will have strong telephonic communication skills.
