We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven salesperson for the Fox Valley and Northern Wisconsin markets. You will work from your home office, which is likely in the Fox Valley (e.g., Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, etc.).

Wind River Financial provides credit and debit card processing services, gift cards and other electronic payment solutions to a wide range of businesses, including retail, lodging, restaurants, business-to-business and e-commerce.

Job Description:

Wind River Financial is seeking a highly motivated outside sales person to develop new customer relationships with medium-to-large businesses who are a good match for our services and value proposition. Specifically, you will be responsible for selling our credit card processing program and other payment services to prospects in the [geographic market]. To meet your sales goals, you will continuously develop new business through targeted marketing and sales activities, active business development work in your area and by working closely with our bank partners to generate referrals.

Essential Job Functions:

Meet assigned sales objective and targets.

Identify, qualify and develop relationships with medium and large-sized prospects that are a good match for Wind River s solutions and value proposition.

Effectively manage the sales process for complex merchant prospects from initial contact and qualification through the sale.

Develop business through third-party relationships, particularly banks and accountants, that influence and shape buying decisions of targeted customers.

Evaluate competitive programs used by prospects, including a pricing analysis, to develop a winning product, pricing and sales strategy.

Uncover customer needs, match them to Wind River solutions and overcome customer objections and indifference to close the sale.

Create and deliver effective customer proposals and presentations.

Develop and maintain knowledge regarding trends and developments in the electronic payment processing industry.

Complete required sales documentation, including opportunity tracking and sales funnel management.

Skills, Ability and Knowledge:

Self-motivated person driven to achieve results, meet goals and continuously improve.

Strong cold calling, networking and business development skills.

Strong selling skills, including the ability to open a sales call, uncover customer needs, link product benefits to those needs, overcome customer objections/indifference and close the sale.

Ability to create and execute strategic account sales plans.

Ability to apply sound financial knowledge, including use of a cost-benefit approach that puts ROI at the forefront of problem solving and decision making.

Team oriented.

Professional and ethically-driven approach to selling and teamwork.

Operates with customers as the focal point, always listening and seeking feedback.

Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening.

Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.

Ability to quickly learn and keep current with product and industry knowledge.

PC literate, especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Goldmine applications.

Familiarity with the bankcard industry a plus, but not required.

Related Work Experience:

Two plus years of relevant work experience (e.g., outside business to business sales)

Ability to travel, by car, to customer locations
