User Interface Engineer/Web Developer
Liaison Technologies, LLC, a leader in B2B connectivity and document transformation/mapping, is looking to immediately fill a position for User Interface Engineer/Web Developer. Liaison is a small but rapidly-growing technology company located in Alpharetta, GA.
The UI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and re-architecting user interfaces for a variety of Web-based and Java-based applications.
The position will be more focused on front-end UI design, but candidates must also have some technical background in programming (Java or C or C++ preferred). They should also have the ability to code HTML from scratch, not just relying on HTML tools.
Candidates of varying job experience levels are all encouraged to apply; however the candidate MUST display a focus on UI development through either previous job experience or related college coursework. Our preference is for candidates with 3+ years of actual work experience in Web/UI development, but we will consider recent college graduates with project/coursework focus in Web/UI Development. All candidates who are invited in for an office interview will be expected to demo samples of their previous UI work.

Required Skills:
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, HCI, or related field.
Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
Proficient in UI design & development (3+ years prior work experience in UI development strongly preferred).
Experience integrating Front-End screens/code with multiple Back-End frameworks.
Experience hand coding Front-End screens using multiple languages such as the following: XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSP, Java Programming, etc.
Web UI Frameworks such as SEAM or Ruby on Rails are a plus.
Desired Skills:
Java EE, EJBs, Servlets, JSPs, JSF, web services, struts, Apache web server,Tomcat, AJAX, SQL, .NET
Non-Tech Skills:
strong interpersonal communication skills, good team player, willing to learn, able to multi-task & hand multiple concurrent projects and requests
