Our Philadelphia Claims Office is looking for a resourceful, self-motivated individual to exercise independent discretion or judgment in handling uninsured motorist (UM) and/or underinsured motorist (UIM) claims. You will also assist or act on behalf of the claims supervisor when required. Four to six years prior experience handling liability claims is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree and the successful completion of the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation is also preferred. Position requires incumbents to serve on ERIE’s Catastrophe Team, which may include travel on short notice to other locations for periods in excess of two consecutive weeks. A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. You should be organized, analytical and decisive. The adjuster will work from home and serve the Philadelphia area while reporting to our Philadelphia Office. You must live in territory assigned unless a change is approved by the company. Use of a company car is provided along with our other outstanding benefits. Experience handling UM/UIM claims is preferred.
