Job Description .
Training and Development Manager will serve as the master trainer and coach for two Districts and will be responsible for managing the standardization and quality of curriculum delivery, screening and on-boarding of new Leaders, the coaching and mentoring processes, and the hiring and development of field Trainers within the two Districts.
The Key Responsibilities for this position are:
Partner with District Managers to support the achievement of District Business Goals and ensure that Area Trainers are also supporting the achievement of Territory Business Goals .
Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the corporate training curriculum, skill building workshops and training agenda items for Innovation meetings. Follow the requirements identified in the Master Training Curriculum.
Provide training support to underserved groups and remote areas. Identify training resources that will support innovative training delivery methods: classroom training, online, webinar.
Serve as a master Coach and provide guidance and support to DMs, TMs and Trainers resulting in improved coaching skills in the field. Monitor quantity and quality of the coaching program and maintain active involvement in field coachings.
Lead the Mentoring program for the District by training trainers on how to identify and select mentors as well as develop and refine mentoring skills. May also train key mentors and lead training sessions. Ultimately responsible for the quality of the mentor program for the District.
Actively participate in and manage Basic Leader Skills Workshops and market tests.
Implement annual Innovations and Training Segments of Staff Meetings and deliver training component at District meetings.
Hire, onboard and develop field trainers. Manage the Trainer Certification process and participate in delivery of TR University.
Identify and communicate local training needs and act as liaison between Corporate Training and the field to fill gaps and provide effective resolutions.
Control District training expenses and ensure cost effective scheduling by overseeing the calendar of training courses and workshops to meet District needs.

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the business needs.
Additional requirements for this position include:
A minimum of 5 - 6 years expertise in adult learning methodologies. Bachelors degree preferred.
Previous management experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including over nights and weekends.
Time in field and traveling up to 75%
Maintains weight within two pounds of the Weight Watchers weight goal range.
