Competencies critical to success are: ability to excel in a large, fast-paced, and changing environment; exceptional oral and written communication; experience working with emerging Web 2.0 technologies; demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; commitment to quality, brand, and team; accountability. Familiarity with Penn State editorial style preferred but not required. Technology competencies needed are: MS Office, Photoshop, digital photography and related software, Web 2.0 technologies (e.g., blogs, Podcasts, Second Life), chat, e-mail, and Web.
