Position Description .
Case Management Specialists, Inc. (CMS) is seeking Registered Nurses to join our growing medical management team providing disease management, case management, utilization review, and consulting services. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel) are required.
These nurses will work telephonically with patients, their family members, their insurance companies, and their providers to assist all parties involved with the education and management of their disease process.
These unique positions will offer qualified individuals the opportunity to advocate for the patient while providing education about their health care options and the management of their chronic illness.
These positions offer a rewarding and interesting specialty in nursing which allows the nurse to participate in enhancing the patient's quality of life and the control of their disease.
A firm clinical foundation is required, more than 10 years preferred.
Experience in disease management, case management or health coaching is preferred. Training in motivational interviewing is desired.
Our main office is located in Hartland, where training would occur. There would then be an opportunity to work from home once training is complete. These positions range from 24-30 hours per week with flexibility.
