As part of COSD, the core networking group drives innovation in a wide variety of networking tools, features, and applications?anything networking through or on top of Windows is developed by this team. The Windows Networking team is creating innovative solutions for enabling enterprise access, supporting the evolving needs of mobile and remote workers, IT managers, and corporate security professionals.
We have a program management opportunity that gives you the opportunity to drive end-to-end scenarios that enhance enterprise connectivity, security, and ease-of-use. The PM will understand market requirements, write functional specifications, coordinate engineering across multiple feature teams, and work with multiple product efforts to create broad industry-facing solutions. The PM must balance ensuring a great end-user experience for knowledge workers while supporting the deployment needs of IT managers. As part of this activity, the PM must create well-defined value propositions that excite customers and support product marketing activities.
We seek an individual with infectious enthusiasm, a passion for solving customer problems with innovative solutions, and the ability to work closely with development and test to achieve those solutions. The candidate should have great presentation and communication skills. Key skills include technical design, coordination and project management, ability to understand customer requirements, and solid goal setting. This position requires the ability to partner effectively with a numerous feature teams to realize the end-to-end scenario.
