If you answered 'yes,' we want to speak with you about a product sales manager position for our KellyConnect program.
KellyConnect, a specialized division of Kelly Services, Inc., $5.7 billion industry leader, provides contact center solution including staffing, distributed work and work from home product offerings for nearly 4,000 North American locations annually.
This position will either be based in Troy, MI or may have the flexibility to be located in an office near your home.
You will lead the identification of qualified prospects and development of sales strategies with the field organization resulting in new accounts while maintaining an individual sales funnel. Expand and enhance KellyConnect's business relationship with prospective customers to contribute to enhanced sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and market share. Maximize sales and profit through effective negotiations. Manage expense to sales ratios to optimize efficiency and profitability within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies with the field organization for new customers and prospects by: reviewing and monitoring corporate financial indicators; utilizing multiple sources of competitive data; utilizing and leveraging sales data and information; lead preparation efforts for proposals that address financial considerations and define value; meeting with high level decision makers to deliver presentations and negotiate the terms of the sale.
- Initiate consultative customer relationships; corporate, field and external by: communicating with key decision makers, identify and understand their needs; positioning KellyConnect products and services to address their needs and add value to their business; understanding and aligning with prospect's desire to build preferences for KellyConnect's products and services.
- Establish and maintain an ongoing sales funnel of targeted and qualified prospects and expand the business opportunity by involving field and corporate subject matter experts; making presentations to customer organizations to introduce KellyConnect products and services, and closing the business.
- Developing consultative sales skills; learning about KellyConnect's cost models and pricing; staying current with all aspects of business including industry and competitive data; learning and keeping others informed of competitive market information, educating staff by providing information, conducting discussions/training, conducting joint sales calls, discussing customer and legislative issues, building relationships with Kelly General Managers and field staff.
- Team with field staff and subject matter experts to: maximize sales, coordinate service delivery and proactively enhance customer value. Involve appropriate subject matter experts (SMEs) and other internal resources to ensure maximum account penetration, customer satisfaction. Work with the assigned executive sponsor to ensure alignment with customer executive sponsor. Apply appropriate judgment and risk analysis to all decisions (financial and organizational directions).
Qualifications:
- BA or BS or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years sales experience within services industry
- Experienced in selling to high level contacts at large accounts
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, strong relationship building and problem solving skills,
- Must have a keen sense of the consultative sales process, solid knowledge of service offerings and internal corporate structures, high level of financial acumen,
- Ability to travel 40% - 60% and as needed.
