What you will be doing!
- Own design, implementation and unit testing of large modules
- Analyze requirements and create functional specifications
What you need!
- 7+ years (at least 4 years in Java) hands-on server-side design and development experience in a commercial-product environment.
- Excellent knowledge of distributed computing, multi-threading concepts, algorithm complexity, relational-to-object mapping and XML processing using Java.
- Working knowledge of distributed, redundant and high-throughput architectures.
- Working knowledge of data retrieval and manipulation using SQL and XSLT.
- Experience with open source Java libraries and server-side frameworks (JBoss, Spring).
- Working knowledge of networking including security and management.
- Knowledge of data modeling in relational, OO and XML paradigms.
- Working knowledge of design patterns and OO modeling, remote API design.
- Ability to work independently and to manage multiple simultaneous tasks.
Desired Skills!
- Detailed knowledge of EJB 3.0, clustering and JMS in JBoss.
- Knowledge of Web Services and SOAP.
- Experience with ANT and Bugzilla.
