Bachelor's Degree in business, math or equivalent.
Black Belt Certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree in business, math or equivalent.
7+ years of business experience in either Six Sigma, TQM or management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Comfortable in working with all levels of organization and making presentations to Business Executives.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, working as lead and as contributor; taking ownership over multiple concurrent projects/initiatives; driving them to completion.
The ability to work cross functionally and across divisions.
Expert knowledge of business operations processes.
Superior analytical, math and problem resolution skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and databases.
Excellent organization skills with specific attention to detail and follow up on outstanding items.
Extremely flexible and adaptable in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Must have the ability to combine, balance and appropriately select assertive initiative with professional discipline and courtesy to achieve difficult tasks through other people.
Perceptive, able to quickly synthesize datum and draw accurate conclusions.
Self aware and able to effectively influence others.
Proactive and responsive in pursuit of business goals.

Serve as the Black Belt / Master Black Belt Manager for the Operations Learning & Performance Improvement Group. This position has two primary objectives. First, to quickly understand the operations processes, procedures, and critical quality measures in order to lead key operational projects ensuring desired results are achieved and completed on time, budget and to quality standards. Secondly, to train and mentor colleagues to develop a culture of managing by facts and continuous improvement.
Implement and drive the Six Sigma process.
Establish milestones, deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress of all projects.
Analyze and recommend solutions to increase Operations effectiveness.
Manage proposal development, scope & risk mitigation.
Develop a data collection plan for each process level.
Help the process owners interpret and manage the data.
Mentor and oversee several Six Sigma projects as appropriate.
Apply the appropriate statistical analysis to each project.
Deliver Six Sigma training (Green Belt and Black Belt).
Build effective business relationships.
Facilitate group discussions/meetings with cross functional teams.
Advanced use of Six Sigma tools and methodology
Prepare, manage, maintain, and communicate project management documentation (ProjectPlan, Issues List, Control Plan, Resource Contention, Financials etc.).
Facilitation of Process Control System (M3), DMAIC, and/or DMADV initiatives
Statistical analysis including: Hypothesis testing, Chi-square, Correlation Analysis, ANOVA, Multiple Regression, Design of Experiments, Measurement System Analysis, Cp/Cpk, and Control Charts
Creation and interpretation of brainstorming and graphical analysis tools including: FMEA, fishbone diagrams, SIPOC, Pareto Chart, Affinity Diagrams, Cost/Benefit Analysis, and Force Field Analysis
Serves as champion and disseminates best practices.
Mentors others in the skills and tools of project management.
Utilizing the Six Sigma methodologies, manage the initiation and delivery of LPI process improvement projects via coordination of cross-functional team members and their associated deliverables.
Develop and maintain project management documentation (Project Plan, Issues List, Risk Control Plan, etc.).
Ensures that project deliverables adhere to Medco quality standards.
Employing a continuous improvement philosophy, seeks opportunities to refine or develop new best practices.
Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Access (and other databases) and Visio.
