As a Parabon engineer, you will work on the Frontier Grid Platform (online, virtual appliance and enterprise versions), and build new applications in many exciting fields (e.g., optimization, evolutionary computing, modeling & simulation, etc.) and, of course, build innovative development tools. Duties:
-Software engineering
-Testing and deployment
Reporting structure:
You will report to one of the Senior engineers who was a key contributor to the design and development and actual launch of the Frontier Grid Platform.
Minimum Commercial Programming Experience:
-5 years of OO development
-5 years of Java programming experience.
-Knowledge of J2SE, J2EE API and shell scripting required.
-Proficient in C and/or C++
-Unix/Linux experience
-Shell scripting experience
-Build environments
knowledge
-Packaging experience
-Strong oral and written communication skills
Education Requirements:
-BS in Computer Science; MS in Computer Science or equivalent scientific computing experience (preferred).
