We're looking for a highly motivATed Territory Sales Manager to help us grow the terriroty in Pennsylvania through developing strong partnerships with new independent Brokers.
This person is responsible for prospecting and appointing new agencies, agency training, territory production and profitable loss rATios. This position will require up to 75-80% travel the first year covering the Pennsylvania Territory. The ideal candidATe must live within Harrisburg or Lancaster. WORK independently and remotely from your HOME! A company car, cell phone, laptop, and other required equipment will be provided.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years insurance sales experience or comparable sales/marketing experience is required.
- College degree is preferred
- WORKing knowledge of insurance operATions is desireable: claims, coverages, products and underwriting to effectively communicATe with agencies and company personnel
- Proficient AT interpreting stATistical dATa from company reports
- Possess effective written communicATion skills and be an acceptable public speaker
- Must be flexible in nATure and a highly motivATed self-starter
- DemonstrATe time management skills and be a logical problem solver
- Basic ability of operATing computers (PC)including knowledge of Microsoft Excel
