Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, this position is responsible
for supporting pre-sale and post-sale activities. The responsibility and overall
objective of being to successfully assist the Sales Team with closing software
license sales by incorporating technical criteria into the overall sales
strategy, as well as provide solution deployment services via both on-site and
off-site customer engagements.
Travel Requirements: Approx. 50%
Qualifications / Requirements
* Technical aptitude; the ability to understand new technologies and related
environments
* Ability to learn new technology through self-study
* Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying
degrees of technical knowledge
* Ability to interpret client requirements and creatively provide solutions
that address those needs by adding value to the client's organization
* You will be expected to work in conjunction with Sales and Product Teams in
identifying, educating, and developing long-term strategic relationships
with targeted clients and partners
* Attend industry conferences and training as required
Desired Skills
* Familiarity in one or more of the following environments: Oracle e-Business
Suite, Seibel, J.D. Edwards, PeopleSoft, SAP
* Strong knowledge and/or understanding of ERP, WMS and other business
applications
* Familiarity with database technology: Oracle, SQL Server, T-SQL, PL-SQL
* Working knowledge of: LDAP's, Operating Systems, Networks, Web Servers,
Application servers
* Knowledge of Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, Web Based UIs
* Knowledge of information security issues and tools
* Knowledge of system and network management issues and tools
* Knowledge of VB/Java/C++/.Net/J2EE or equivalent would be a "plus"
