Full-time Medical Writer, NY Job Description:
Our client, a fast-growing pharmaceutical company is currently searching for an in-house Medical Writer to join their team full-time. The right candidate will be a seasoned medical writer who has experience with writing and editing clinical documents for regulatory submissions.
The Medical Writer will be writing and editing clinical protocols, study reports, informed consent forms, investigator brochures, and IND reports.
They will also be writing Powerpoint presentation materials and pharmacy manuals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST work on-site. May have flexibility to work from home one/two days per week.
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting clinical and statistical data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work cooperatively with support staff, QC, copy editing.
- Able to manage multiple projects within established timelines.
- Highly motivated to work within a team environment.
- Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in AMA Style Guide 10th edition would be preferred.
- Excellent computer and technical skills.
- Experience working in a variety of therapeutic areas would be an asset.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific area is a must. An advanced degree in a primary science such as M.S., Pharm.D., Ph.D., is required.
