Position Description
Position responsible for consulting with classroom professors, instructors, and school administrators on methods to achieve student success in higher education and is accountable for the effective service, support, and collaboration with the sales staff to increase the profitability of the college division product line including student success product as well as the events related to these programs. The consultant builds relationships with faculty and provides counsel and support of teaching in the classroom and online. The consultant will provide curriculum design support including online course design. The consultant will also conduct workshops and trainings, coordinate training efforts in other disciplines and provide effective support to sales representatives in using training and consulting in all disciplines to drive sales and sell through. This is a work at home position that can be located in the Southern United States.

Essential Duties and responsibilities
1. This position is accountable for the effective service, support, and collaboration with the sales staff, all leading to increasing profitability of the higher education product lines.
2. Plans strategy and consults on Student Success and Faculty Programs/Team UP products and services, demonstrating effective consulting skills, including effective time and territory management. Manage a Faculty Advisor Group.
3. Builds relationships with professors, instructors, and administrators at the college level. Provides educational and pedagogical support for the teachers in their efforts to assist the students to succeed in the classroom and online. Provides assistance with training and technology issues. Consults with classroom teachers on questions of success in the classroom, particularly in the use of student success products to attain this success.
4. Provides information and feedback from the marketplace on needs and trends and the competitions' approach to serving those needs. Communicates regularly with Editorial, Marketing, Sales, and customers to keep each informed of pertinent issues and recommended solutions.
5. Coordinates TeamUP on-campus workshops and assists reps and customers to determine the most appropriate venue for training. Arranges and perhaps conducts the sessions at specific colleges and universities. Conducts regional and national workshops.
6. Provides curriculum design support to colleges including assistance in building online or hybrid courses. Provides consulting services associated with consultant's specialties.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Masters degree or equivalent required. Experience in the college classroom is required. Online teaching and online course design experience required. Experience in the discipline of student success and instructional design expertise is a plus. Administrative experience is a plus. The ability to quickly learn and utilize company policies and procedures as well as expertise in successful consulting, presenting skills and instructional technology techniques is required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and planning skills and be computer literate with experience with the Internet. Faculty development or training expertise is a plus. Must be willing to travel.
