Position Description .
Computer System Engineer
Our growing computer services company currently has openings for Computer System Engineers specializing in Microsoft products and SMB networks. Strong customer service, technical, and follow-through skills are a must.
This position at Swick Technologies is responsible for the following:
1) Working with customers and support team on a day-to-day basis to resolve customer issues. This includes both remote phone and on-site support.
2) Working with service team on implementation projects such as installing and upgrading servers, and rolling out new applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft systems in heterogeneous Microsoft network environments
· Advanced experience with small and medium-sized business Microsoft core server products such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, ISA Server, Small Business Server, and SQL server.
· Intermediate router and network troubleshooting skills. Strong desktop-support experience – The ability to investigate, communicate with customer, and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
· Intermediate in the deployment and support of network and Line of Business applications.
· Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills and solve problems.
· Computer Science degree or equivalent experience in Managing Information Systems.
· Impeccable customer service skills are a must.
· Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, provide proof of insurance, and ability to use own vehicle for on-site support (all in the Metro-Milwaukee area). Mileage reimbursement available.
· Must have high-speed internet and ability to use personal computer, or company-provided computer from home while meeting our security regulations and standards.
· One-year minimum employment contract required
