Composites processing Engineer (Marine Div), permanent position:
Our client has need for the following individual to act as liaison between engineering design team and their customer base for the Northeast (US) territory.
Road warrior needed asap...
There will be roughly 30% travel to Canada to meet with design engineers and management team, frequent travel to US locations along the Northeastern states as the territory you will cover. A fair amount of "work from home" when not on travel.
Description of general duties:
Composite Processing Engineering to assist with customer qualifications and technical requests, required due to increased Marine customers in the American continents.
Constant interaction with customers. High level of communication and relationship skills needed.
Insure good technical relationships with customers.
Materials and technology development with customers and within the organization.
Interaction with Sales, customer service, and production to provide solutions on supply and service within the technical space.
Input into product development
Desired experience and Skill Set:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A degree in relevant subject, (ex.) Mechanical Engineering, Composites Materials, Polymer Chemistry with Engineering, or a similar engineering-type education program with relevant experience.
Experience within the advanced composites industry (3 years min)
Proven ability to work successfully in travel situations.
Materials for this position are associated with Marine products, propellers, boating materials, etc.
Proven capability to handle large customers and good IT skills are a major plus.
