- PMP Proj Mgr who is more functional type than Technical - any experience w/ SAP or Peoplsoft or Oracle type enterprise applications is preferred
- Any retail is plus
- Ideally anyone with Supply Chain / large systems / demand planning be great
- Need someone who is good at working with business - developing business requirmeents - defining project plans - leading project - strong communication and leadership
Responsibilities:
As a Business Systems Project Leader, responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and improving existing and proposed business-related systems. Research new vendors and systems and perform high-level planning to include timelines and costs. Coordinate the implementation of new systems and lead and participate in a variety of cross-functional projects acting as a technical mentor. Required to maintain the task lists and timelines for these projects, working through any unforeseen system failures or deficiencies. Expedite service and support on all system bugs, problems, revisions, upgrades, and modifications. As a Business Systems Project Leader collect, organize, and maintain all business systems related documents. Demonstrate a commitment to Total Quality Management and the process of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- BS in Business or IT plus 3 to 5 years of experience in a business systems project leader role. 8 to 10 years of work experience in business analysis, systems analysis, project management, and business administration.
- Experience in SAP ERP applications (SAP Apparel Footwear Solution) and supply chain planning applications (including demand planning) desired.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Must be able to convey technical information to non-technical associates.
- Proven visionary skills to recognize and implement best practices and business processes.
- Ability to work within a budget and develop and implement cost savings measures.
- Experience analyzing business operations and organizing system components into a logical solution.
- Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of various business systems, PC software, and network protocols.
- Some domestic and international travel required.
