Middle Market Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative is an outside, business to business sales role working for the industry leader in the fast-growing electronic payment processing arena. This is an outside, business to business sales role covering Boston and the sorrounding metropolitan area, selling to middle market businesses.

Responsibilities:
• Sells Chase Paymentech's merchant services to new business customers in the Boston metropolitan area to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
• Actively prospect potential customers to bring new business on board, through a combination of cold-calling, networking, and any other business development activities.
• Targets middle market businesses, which include any business in any industry that takes or could take credit cards as a form of payment, as long as the business' expected annual credit card income is at $1 million dollars.
• Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine the customers' needs and performs sales presentations to match company's products with identified needs
• Sells products through face-to-face contact.
• Generate annual revenue of $280 to $350 thousand.
• Works from a home office.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience.
• Proven outside or field sales experience.
• Ability to self-source own leads through a combination of cold-calling, networking, referrals and other sources.
• Proven ability and desire to cold-call.
• Track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, while a college degree would be a plus.
• Experience in merchant services or payment processing would be beneficial, but not essential.
