Business Development Director - Diagnostics
Work from home anywhere in the US or our branch office in Chicago, IL. We will also relocate for this position.
We are hiring a Strategic Director to lead and grow our alliances and partnerhsips with pharmaceutical companies.
Do you have an impressive deal sheet with strategic partnerships with pharma and biotech companies? If so, then Read On!
This position is a high impact position and very critical to our diagnostic product launch in the US. Our company is a globally recognized brand and we are growing at a very impressive rate with focus at the diagnostics/therapeutics divission.
What You Need to Qualify
- Business or Science Degree, MBA or Ph.D preferred but not required
- A working knowledge of the drug discovery/development process as it relates to diagnostics (IHC/In Vivo/In Vitro knowledge a plus)
- A strong track record in licensing and partnering deals with US pharma/biotech
- An extensive network of relationships with the major players within the US biopharmaceutical market
In addition, you must be extremely self motivated with a results oriented approach, and have strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
What You Will Do?
- Licensing Strategy, Execution, Negotiation, and Close
- Strategic Alliances and Corporate Partnerships with Pharma and Biotech Companies
- Technology Assessment and Market Evaluation
- Assure devices meet technical performance criteria and adheres to guidelines of relevant governmental agencies
- Determining project financial viability and planning of business development strategy
- Leading and facilitating the development of new core competencies which gives the company a competitive advantage in the area
- Monitoring the impact of the business development strategy on the overall company objectives
- Work closely with our UK team
