Requisition No. 3746BR Title Account Executive Job Description Our growing organization is looking for a high-energy business to business (B2B) outside sales professional, where the primary focus is to sell credit, debit, check and gift card processing solutions, terminals and supplies, along with many other merchant services products to regional and small businesses in any industry. This is accomplished through referrals obtained from a strong working relationship developed with your bank partners and other referral sources, complimented by effective self sourcing of potential merchant sales opportunities. Duties include: cold calling, prospecting, networking, regular meetings with assigned bank partners to enhance product awareness and generate creative ways and tactics to increase the frequency and quality of bank partner referrals. Delivering concise and effective presentations to prospective businesses and appropriately pricing products and services. Participating in new product and sales skills training, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals and always representing the First Data values of the highest ethical standards and treating others with dignity and respect. Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will have proven sales skills by demonstrating a prior history of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets or other quotas. Prior experience must demonstrate success through self-sourcing and a consultative business-to-business selling of a complex suite of products and services. Proven ability to develop referral partners to assist in generating a lead base if preferred. He or she will have a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience. Effective written and oral communication skills are required along with an intermediate level of competence using MS office suite, email and the internet. Banking and/or bankcard industry experience is a plus.
