Requisition No. 4007BR Title Account Executive Job Description Generate sales of products and services, which include prospecting and identifying decision makers within Government agencies. Coordinate sales visits for sales presentations, while ensuring appropriate follow-up with customers in order to close new business. Responsible and accountable for the daily management of customer relationships, as well as being a focal point for growing business. Additionally, the position assists in: Securing and maintaining customer contracts Managing client relationships and communications Leading revenue growth initiatives Collaboration on marketing initiatives An understanding of electronic processing methods, government procurement practices and FDGS product line and capabilities is required. The ideal candidate will be both an advocate for the current Fiscal Services offerings, as well as a source of identifying and recommending new areas of growth and expansion within the market. Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will have proven sales skills by demonstrating a prior history of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets or other quotas. Prior experience must demonstrate success through self-sourcing and a consultative business-to-business selling of a complex suite of products and services. Proven ability to develop referral partners to assist in generating a lead base if preferred. He or she wull have a bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and work experience. Effective written and oral communication skills are required along with an intermediate level of competence using MS office suite, email and the internet. banking and/or bankcard industry experience is a plus.
