Position Description: National Financial (NF), a Fidelity Investments company, offers Integrated Brokerage Solutions to over 330 clients ranging from retail broker/dealers to institutional investment firms. Collectively, there are over 85,000 brokers and advisors associated with National Financial correspondent broker-dealers. As of March 31, 2008, National Financial custodied $671 billion in assets, representing 5.6 million accounts. NFs Managed Account Solutions (MAS) offering is a scalable, sophisticated fee-based offering integrated into the Streetscape platform that comprises four advisory programs. The MAS Wholesaler will be responsible for driving revenue and client adoption for assigned territory. Primary Responsibilities: * Drive MAS asset adoption (increase number of advisors using MAS) and flows in assigned territory through NF Correspondent B/D client base. * Develop prospects & maintain existing and new relationships with top producing financial advisors at MAS firms as a means to achieve MAS goals of increase advisor adoption and asset flows. * Ensure that producers are knowledgeable regarding MAS “platform” offering and related NF products. * Work closely with VP of MAS Sales to maximize territorial sales. Person will report activity trends and opportunities to national sales and product teams. * Travel 75-80% of the time to various branch offices within their assigned region, attending industry trade shows and conferences and visits to the home office in Boston, MA. * Person will keep call notes and pipeline up to date within the NF CRM tool * Maintain highest level of compliance with all security regulations
Qualifications
Education and Experience: * Bachelors Degree required * Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses required * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Financial Service. Broker/Dealer knowledge is preferred. Skills and Knowledge: * Position requires significant overnight travel, with the ability to work from home office when not traveling * Must live in or relocate to sales territory * Field sales and territory management experience required * Must have in depth knowledge of NF Core Brokerage, NF MAS and/or competitive products * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Superb stand-up presentation, communication and listening skills Company Overview: Fidelity Investments is one of the worlds largest providers of financial services, with custodied assets of more than $3.4 trillion, including managed assets of $1.6 trillion as of October 31, 2007.
